Agrikulture is one of the most promising new bands to emerge on the Indonesian music scene. Although they play electronic and dance music, they also use live instruments making their music organic and lively. Agrikulture gives a new dimension to electronic music which usually is static and monotonous. They give a new approach to dance music so it is more accesible to pop listeners. Take the track titled "New Day". If you remove the beat and the bass drum and slow down the tempo a little bit, it sounds like any other fun and catchy pop song. Menawhile they retain their dance credibility with "Gosip", "La-La-La", and a remix of "Disko Di Rumah", which are already hits on the dance floors across Jakarta.
