Indonesia is probably the last place you would expect to find Celtic music, not to mention interpretations that have been praised for their originality as well. But here they are, four accomplished musicians playing works from the best of Irish and Scottish tradition. The four Jakarta natives were known for their orchestral performances but in 2000 they took a chance on performing compositions they all knew and loved. They formed the band and began playing to select audiences in the capital. Their one and only album was well-received by the intelligentsia but separate touring obligations eventually took their toll on this now-defunct band. While this beautiful work can no longer be found in music stores, their music continues to be interpreted by local composers and this rare CD can now be found on the iTunes music store in the United States and beyond.
