The sophmore effort of these Balinese guys covers a range of sounds, from straight-up rock with flying solos to a thrashier punk sound reminiscent of bands like the Soviettes and the Methadones. "Bali United" is an appropriate title for an album that not only has brought together so many Balinese but any fan of clean guitar licks and the occasional rock ballad. Ubud may be a sleepy hill town in central Bali but after one listen to this 2006 release, visitors and residents of this famed tourist destination will certainly be woken from their slumber.
