The first album by this Jakarta-based band was voted one of the best in 2006 by Rolling Stone Indonesia and it’s easy to see why. Claude’s rough vocals over the power of Deedee’s guitars make for a potent mix of hardcore and metal that would do Chino Moreno proud. The band’s first single Hurricane Boy has become a favorite on alternative radio and the quartet’s drunk and disorderly live shows has earned it a strong following in the capital. The group says fall is their favorite season for the change that it brings and few would be surprised if their music caused a similar seismic shift in the landscape, bringing shoegazers and headbangers together as one.
