Kubik
Hailing from Bandung, Indonesia, KUBIK is the brainchild of FX.Adam.J and Lucimers.
The music of these childhood friends combines elements of darkwave, heavy metal and electronica and, as reported in the local press,
helped redefine Bandung's alternative music scene in the mid-1990s. With the release of their most anticipated album in 2004,
"Velvet Words And Lies", they earned critical acclaim from fans and the media alike. "Velvet Words" is a haunting melange of
vindictive bile, self-inflicted wounds and modern textures. The result: dark, electronic pop songs brimming with soulful emotion.
Yet no matter how complex the instrumentation or how unusual the sounds, the music remains accessible and intensely enjoyable.
