The origin of this band’s name comes from the Japanese word for rainbow, an appropriate choice given the range of styles on their first album. Modern rock or pop might be apt descriptions as the band takes its inspiration from groups like Coldplay, Smashing Pumpkins, Keane and Dave Matthews. The band’s current formation came together in 2005 and immediately caught the attention of the powers that be at Musica Studio’s. The influential label was impressed with the members’ musical backgrounds and their dedication to the craft. With that in mind, the promotion machine went into action for the release of the band’s debut release in 2006. “Breakthru” has something for everybody and a pot of gold is sure to be waiting at the end of this rainbow.
